Police Reference Check (Letter of Good Conduct)

How to get the above letter ?
Normally you can just write to the PR Department of Police HQ at Bukit Aman or get it from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs . But that would take at least 2 months to be processed.
But there are some alternative equivalent documents such as “Through Background Check” ways you could get it in 5 days.

Call the Malaysian High Commission in London (Just hard-search it in google) and ask for your application form. Easy.

Hi… I need a certificate of good conduct for student visa application to NZ. I’ve check out the Ministry of foreign affair’s site and found that I need a statutory declaration from the commisioner of oath in order the get it done, otherwise it would take a longer time. I need to start my visa applisation in less than 2 months. Will I be able to the certificate within that period if I do not have a statutory declaration?

I am an Ethiopian who resided in Malaysia for two years (2003-2005) during my master studies at UPM. Now that I am trying to further my studies, I was offered a place in UK. The process is much faster nowadays. Just make sure you have all the relevant verified documents before making the application (can get the forms and needed document(s) list online). It would ONLY take a few days if application is done by mail. But if you go to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs department in Putrajaya IN PERSON (like what I did!) – you can get the Letter of Good Conduct within the SAME DAY. Cheers! 🙂

last week i went to malaysian ministry of foreign affair my self in person just to tried my luck n see wheather i could get police clearance in one day, so i flew there n handed it in person! nope!
they dobt do one day police clearance for foreigner unless you are malaysian. they said i still have to wait one to three month!

My understanding from my fiancee is that she submitted all requested documents before the date above, and paid any relevant fees.
She reported to me that she received a phone call a ‘couple days ago’ from someone regarding her application. The person indicated she didn’t need a CGC as she wasn’t marrying a Malaysian citizen.
